Surfactants and emulsifiers

Wetting and flow disruptions may have various causes, regardless of whether they occur in the production of adhesives, paints and varnishes or in the field of metalworking fluids. Maximum reduction of the interfacial tension between substrate and coating material is able to prevent defects or provide a remedy through the use of post additives. The initial concentration of fluorosurfactants is generally in the ppm range and, when used skilfully in formulations, these compounds can enable individual additives such as dispersing agents, defoamers, flow control agents to be reduced or completely eliminated. Optimize your coating materials.
