Targeted process management

Great demands are placed on modern binding agents and coating materials. Resistance to physical and/or chemical load repeatedly calls for new and more efficient raw materials in formulations. In chemical processes, metallo-organic catalysts are deployed for selective esterification and transesterification as well as addition, condensation and olefin polymerization reactions.

Radical initiators are organically substituted azonitriles capable of instigating various chemical reactions after their decay into free radicals. They are employed in the production of acrylates, methacrylates, unsaturated polyesters or vinyl compounds. The results are purer end products and considerably fewer undesired side reactions than is the case when other radical starter systems are used.
